Collaboration with Local Food Ministry Organization

Maxwell's Culinary Arts program is very pleased to collaborate with Chef Hank Reid of Lettum Eat! Inc. It is a non-profit meal ministry program that provides mobile food provisions for those in need in Gwinnett County and surrounding Metro Atlanta counties. Giving Back to the Community

Culinary classes are participating in a community service project to support LETUMEAT, a non-profit organization that provides meals for 1,000 families every week. LETUMEAT provided 100 lbs. of rice that Maxwell students prepared, packaged, and assembled for pick up as well as any protein or vegetable that is donated to LETUMEAT. In October, students prepared four briskets (pictured right) to help serve the needs in our community.
